Tech Goes Home Chattanooga Program Coordinator
The Enterprise Center is seeking a passionate and motivated Program Coordinator to work on our county-wide digital inclusion initiative, Tech Goes Home CHA (TGH CHA). This is a full-time position with a competitive salary ($40K - $50K) and benefits. The start date is negotiable, but we would like to have our new hire in place by May 16, 2022. The suitable candidate will have excellent organizational skills, experience working with non-profit community partners, and an overall passion for education and digital equity. ABOUT TECH GOES HOME CHA
Tech Goes Home Chattanooga (TGH CHA) is The Enterprise Center's digital inclusion program for residents across Hamilton County. TGH CHA is modeled after the national, award-winning Tech Goes Home program. Founded in Boston, Tech Goes Home has successfully provided participants with the tools, education and access required for 21st century skills development since 1999.
We partner with schools, public libraries, churches, nonprofits, and other organizations across Hamilton County to offer free courses designed to help residents develop skills and habits required for smart technology and Internet use. Participants receive fifteen hours of classroom training to help them understand why the Internet is relevant in their daily lives, have the option to purchase a new Chromebook or tablet for only $50 (upon completion of the course), and receive assistance in obtaining access to low-cost home Internet.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM COORDINATOR POSITION
The overall job of the Program Coordinator is to manage partners and ensure the day-to-day operations of TGH CHA courses run smoothly.
Key responsibilities in this role are:
- Communicate with and manage our Trainers during program sessions;
- Coordinate Chromebook deliveries between training locations and our vendor;
- Assist with ongoing community outreach;
- Schedule and organize on-site Tech Goes Home courses
- Help maintain up-to-date program materials & resources (in print and online);
- Help maintain social media accounts and update website
- Help monitor the implementation of TGH CHA’s policies, procedures, and program improvements at our various partner locations;
- Assist with data collection, evaluation and record maintenance in platforms including Google Sheets, Survey Monkey, and Mail Chimp; and
- Help organize TGH CHA events.
We need someone who:
- is passionate about digital equity and improving the lives of our residents;
- is super organized, efficient, and able to work on complex projects;
- is patient and doesn’t mind being persistent;
- is fluent in Spanish (though not a requirement);
- has strong communications skills and can relate to diverse audiences;
- has a solid knowledge of Google Drive and related apps;
- has experience organizing volunteers; and
- enjoys the challenges of working on a quickly expanding program.
